Finally, an update! This is my take on the myth of Thor's Fishing Trip:
One day Thor goes fishing with the giant Hymer. Thor prepares a strong line and a large hook and baits it with an ox head, which Jörmungandr bites. Thor pulls the serpent from its depths, and readies his hammer. Hymer goes pale with fear - he knows that if the snake's head will rise above the water the world will end. As Thor goes for the final pull, the giant cuts the line, leaving the serpent to sink beneath the waves.
