Here we see the famous London detective Sherlock Holmes and his trusty cohort Dr Watson trying to solve a case. Watson is based heavily on Granada's David Burke, because he played the role so well. Quick with a smile, polite, good-humoured and intelligent. Sherlock got the eyes from Jeremy Brett. I'm not too happy with the hair, but I need to get on and finish this today
What this case is about I have no idea, but somebody probably died in the room where the painting hangs. Maybe the horse is painted with arsenic mixed in the paint, or maybe there's diamonds hidden behind the surface? Who knows.. I just realized Holmes looks like a magician conjuring up clues from the brush.
Drawn with a Bic pen as usual, on semi-grangey paper.
Supernice work! I really think Watson reminds me about Timothy Dalton, Got the Eyes and the brows. Looks like Mr. Sherlock could do wonders with a guitar with them fingers!
Thank you so much! The horses are inspired by 17th century ceiling paintings when you see the motive from beneath, and I think they in turn drew some inspiration from Leonardo DaVinci's paintings.

Burke as Watson was my favorite Watson so far, and you've given him a very alluring face *huggles Watson*
(Not so sure about Sherlock, he's more angular and narrow in my mind, but that's just me.)
The horses are awesome! Pegasi are grace personified, and you've nailed it.
